In the printing industry, a specific color model is used to represent the various colors that can be printed on paper or other materials. This model is based on the four primary colors of cyan, magenta, yellow, and black (key), which are mixed in different combinations to produce a wide range of colors.
This method is commonly used in the printing industry to reproduce precise and consistent colors. The acronym CMYK stands for these four colors and describes the subtractive color system, which contrasts with the additive RGB color system used for screens.

The unheated melt channel from machine nozzle / hot runner up to the cavity is called cold runner.
In the injection molding cycle the cold runner is cooling down and freezes.
The gate geometry is very flexible, like umbrella gate, cashew gate, ring gate.
The cold runner is ejected together with the part.
The separation from the part is done automatically or manually.
The collected cold runners will be recycled or disposed as waste.

The clamping unit of an injection molding machine is typically guided on columns. However, columnless injection molding machines are also available on the market. The clamping force is applied over a C- or H-shaped frame. The big advantage of the columnless design is the very good accessibility for mold installation and handling. In comparison to the column-guided clamping unit, the entire surface of the platens can be used to mount the mold.

ComoNeo is a process monitoring system that is designed to optimize, monitor and document injection molding processes based on cavity pressure. Apart from
processing cavity pressures, the unit also allows for the acquisition and evaluation of contact temperatures from the mold and signals from the injection molding machine.
The monitoring functions in the system ensure reliable scrap separation based on the cavity pressure curve.
On the mold side, one ComoNeo unit can accommodate up to 32 cavity pressure sensors and up to 16 contact temperature sensors. On the machine side 12 digital inputs, 24 digital outputs, 4 analog inputs and 1 analog output are available.

Hygroscopic plastics must be dried before processing. For this purpose different drying systems are available. The group of dry air systems includes the so-called compressed air dryer.
Instead of air dehumidified in adsorption dryers, this system uses pre-dried compressed air, which is decompressed, heated, and then distributed in the material container. With compressed air dryers can reach a dew point of -20 °C and lower. Compressed air dryers are suitable for small and large quantities. The energy-efficient further development of the compressed air dryer is the two-circuit compressed air dryer. These systems use ambient air and / or exhaust air to preheat the granules and require only a fraction of compressed air compared to conventional compressed air dryers to provide a dry atmosphere.
