Location Ring

To orient the injection mold on the platen a locating ring is used.
The ring supports the mounting of the mold.
It helps to aligns the machine nozzle with the central length of the sprue bush.
With this, a good contact between the two elements is ensured.

LSR Dosing Unit

Liquid Silicone Rubbers (LSR) for plastic injection molding are delivered standard wise in buckets (2.5kg, 5kg,…).
For processing Component “A” and “B” is required in volume ratio of 1:1.
To assure an equal and constant, same as void-free dosing of material a dosing unit is required.

MAC address (Media Access Control address)

This term refers to a unique hardware address permanently assigned to a device’s network interface. It is used to uniquely identify devices within a local network and to control the directed exchange of data. In industrial plastics processing systems, this address enables reliable communication between machine controllers, sensors, production equipment, and higher-level control systems. The address is typically stored in the network interface hardware and consists of a standardized sequence of hexadecimal characters. This allows each device in the network to be uniquely addressed and integrated into industrial data communication.

Machine Setup Sheet

All information, which is needed for production, is collected on the machine setup sheet ( or machine datasheet).
It starts with the material and its drying conditions, then it continues with the machine data and the strokes of the mold.
After that, the process parameters follow.
This includes the temperatures of each cooling channel, hot runner and cylinder; cycle times, pressures and speeds.
With a correct filled datasheet, it is possible to reproduce the process anytime.
