Ensuring that only the good parts that meet the quality requirements leave the production line is the supreme goal of every plastics processing operation – in sectors ranging from automotive supply and medical technology to electronics. Reliable process control is the key to achieving this goal. Mold sensors in combination with the ComoNeo allow information to be obtained directly from inside the cavity and are used for this purpose. The obtained process data can be stored, further analyzed and exported in various forms through the database software ComoDataCenter. The course guides the user through the installation and the functionalities of the ComoDataCenter and shows step by step how to use the software to boost the efficiency in plastics processing.

About ComoDataCenter - User Training

The ComoDataCenter 4.3 contains a database, where the data recorded by the ComoNeo and CoMo Injection system is stored. The user interface allows the user to view this data and analyze it during ongoing production.

This course covers the functionalities of the ComoDataCenter and shows step by step instructions how to install and use the ComoDataCenter. The course begins with the installation of the software, followed by instructions how to connect ComoNeo devices, and than instructions how to setup the connection with CoMo Injection devices. Afterwards the user interface is shown step by step. Beginning at the [Home] page, where all devices ever connected to the CDC are shown, followed by the [Production] page, where the whole production data is listed. Export and import options are shown. In the [Analysis] menu point various analysis options are shown and explained. Here a report of the selected Batch can be created, and trend and cycle data can be exported in a .csv or excel file. Followed by the Mold page, where the whole mold management takes place. In the last video the general system settings and the automatic archiving is explained.
