USB Server
If a USB device, such as a printer or an external hard disk, is to be integrated into an existing network (LAN), a USB server is required.
This enables several computers connected to the network to access the device.
The USB server has an RJ45 connection, as well as its own power supply and a socket for connecting USB devices.
The USB device is configured and made visible on the network using special software or a web interface.
The connected USB device can be used in the network via an assigned IP address (static or via DHCP).
