3) Menu Prtn (Print mode)
• Set to Key (if print value is 82 – more accurate but continuos beep on scale)
• Set to stable (if print value is empty in Xscale – less accurate)

RS232 Cable connection alternatives

DSub 9 plug on Scale

A) Direct RS232 cable connection to a computer with a DSub 9 plug on cable.

B) RS232 Cable connection to a computer with a DSub 9 plug on cable, plus a DSub 9 gender changer adapter.

C) RS232 Cable connection to a computer with a DSub 9 plug on cable, plus a DSub 9 / USB adapter.

D) Direct RS232 cable connection to a computer with an USB plug on cable.

 

DB 25 plug on Scale

A) Direct RS232 cable connection to a computer with a DB 25 plug on cable.

B) RS232 Cable connection to computer with a DB 25 plug on cable, plus a DB 25 / DSub 9 adapter .

C) Direct RS232 cable connection to a computer with a DSub 9 plug on cable.

Cables types

These given cable types where tested and worked at our laboratory. However, other type of cable might work as well.

Depending on the computer you are using you might need to use a RS232 to USB Converter. The given parameters are suggestions only.
